The Unstoppable Force and the Immovable Object

I’m sure you have heard the term “paradox”.  The dictionary defines paradox as “a statement or proposition that seems self-contradictory or absurd but in reality expresses a possible truth.”

They are basically clever sayings that screw with your head.  Like can God create a stone that was so heavy even he could not pick it up? Sure he could, oh wait….

One semi- famous paradox is called the Unstoppable Force paradox.   It caught my attention the other day and started my gears turning.  It goes like this:

What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?

Insurmountable Wall of Death?

When it comes to fat loss and fitness, it can seem like you are climbing an endless wall of death.  Or maybe I should say endless wall of blubbery frustration.

President Bill Clinton said it best when he said “I feel your pain.”

Cheer up , Bill.

The thought of achieving your goals, whether it be fitness & fat loss (or whatever life your goal you might have) can seem insurmountable. 

Well it is surmountable.  Way surmountable.  But the path can be long, uphill and not well marked.  Plus there might be pain involved. But no one expects you to do it alone.
