I’m Not Above Bribery

There are 2 things you should know about me:

1) I Hate Losing.

2) I’m Not Above Bribery.

Based upon some recent events these are 2 very important facts to keep in mind.  So let me catch you up.

Earlier this week I had a conversation with a good friend of mine named Brett Riesenhuber.  Brett lives in Northern California, and like me he owns a high end personal training studio (called Prime Physique) and runs several bootcamps.  Interestingly, our “significant others” have the same name too.

Just For You: An Ethical Bribe

Bribery has such a negative connotation. Maybe because it is a tactic usually reserved for crooks and politicians.

But let’s face it bribery is part if what made America great.  Most politicians would be jobless without bribery, and we certainly do not want to add anything to America’s current unemployment rate. Without bribery many otherwise law abiding "businessmen" would have to deal with time consuming and annoying legal entanglements which could take time from their olive oil business.

Voter Bonus

In 1976 I was in kindergarten. It was the first election I can distinctly remember.

My school had set up a mock election, and all the classes got to vote. I of course voted for Carter.  It made sense to vote for Carter, he had to be the best guy as we shared a last name.  Perfectly good reasoning for a 5 year old.

I don’t remember who won in the school’s election, but I do know who won the real one.
