Hey guys, I need your honest opinion here. Check this out…
As you probably know, I have run 2 back to back 6 Week Body Transformation Programs and the results have been insane. AndI have actually gotten a few emails asking if I would run one more before the year ends.
My first thought was nah, stupid holidays are in the way. So I emailed and told them probably not (but maybe…)
But then it hit me – what if I did a 6 Week Body Transformation Program *Holiday Edition*?
My thought is this : not only *NOT* gain weight this holiday season – but actually *LOSE* weight – even during the toughest weeks of the year.
See here’s the thing, holidays are the most stressful time of the year. So I thought maybe I could ease at least some of that stress by guiding my 6 Week Body Transformation Clients step-by-step through nutrition, training, supplementation and motivation for the 6 weeks that lead us into 2010.
(You’ll still have to deal with your relatives – you’re on your own there.)
So here is where I need your opinion. Is this a good idea? I mean I put a ton of effort into these challenges so I want to make sure people are up for this. I don’t want to put this out there and find out no one cares or is interested in showing up to a New Years party with a rockin new bod.
I want honest opinions from real action takers here, not slackers.
(PLUS I forgot to mention the winner gets 3 months of free training – not too shabby.)
Here are some of the most recent transformations…
Kelly, down 11 pounds and 3.5 inches off her waist
Tom, down 17 pounds and 4.5 inches off his waist
Karen, lost 24 pounds and 5 inches off her waist
Greg, down 24 pound and 5 inches off his waist
Ellen lost 20 pounds and 4 inches from her waist.
So let me know, should I run another or wait until the new year? Is anyone interested in a true holiday survival strategy?
The more I think about it the more I kinda like the idea. But who cares what I think – What do you think?

PS: This would not only be for in-person clients, there is the virtual / online version as well. As a matter of fact the guy who won the most recent challenge was Dave, an online client who lost 26 pounds and 5.5 inches from his waist (at age 61).

I think it is a great idea!
…but I am of the obssesive compulsive type!
I think it’s a great idea!
Hi Josh: I totally agree, I think I can sometimes enjoy the festivity’s just as much as anybody else because I make the effort to UP my training. The extra training compensates for the extra Guinness!!
The holidays usually suck for me. I usually end up putting on 5-8 lbs that takes forever to take off. So I would be up for it. This would be for online people too right?
It’s always a good time for a body transformation.
Yesss! Do it! I think this is the best time of the year to give everyone that jumpstart. Trust me, it’s a lot easier to work towards New Years Resolutions when you don’t start out so far gone…
I say, do it! do it! do it!
Hey Josh, Let’s do it, for sure. I’ll probably drive all the way from Chino Hills.
looking forward to dropping more weight for the holidays.
Hey, that’s a great idea! Beisdes, most persons would probably feel better about enjoying the holidays less heavier. Too bad I live in Columbus, Ohio. I’d be interested in participating even though I currently workout regularly w/my trainer here.
You know how I feel..I am ready. Or shall I say,
“It’s on like donkey kong”!
I think it is a WONDERFUL idea! I would definately participate in the virtual program!
I love it!!!Having a program to follow specifically geared for the holidaze is a great idea. We could all use some extra support during the busiest time of the year with staying on top of our fitness programs.
Hi Josh. I think you might get more participation AFTER the holidays. This is when people typically “resolve” to get in shape and join a gym or a bootcamp..etc. Just my opinion though. Thanks.
This sounds great!
What is the possibility of a class that starts around 7:30pm?
Hey Josh,
I think it’s a great idea. I am ready to take this to the next level!
Greg, right now I’m not sure. It would be a possibility I guess depending on how many people could come at that time.
Yes, I think it would be a great time to offer the program. First of all not gaining that Holiday 7 pounds, and the not having to make a New Year’s resolution to loose weight.
There is no time like the present. Why encourage folks to procrastinate and put it off to the new year when most of us need to practice more self-control through these holi-days? I say do it. What a valuable message you’d send to your classes. Thanks for asking…
IT’S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!! I re-launched the program for one final go in 2009. Check it out: http://6weekbodytransformation.com/
