As you are probably aware if you have read anything of mine ever, you know that in my mind there is only one good and pure and perfect food in the whole world: peanut butter. (For those of you who are new : I love peanut butter. I rationally know it is not perfect - but I still irrationally love it)
As you may also know, recently peanut butter has been getting a bad rap for making people sick.
Turns out there were multiple batches of the glorious goo that were tainted with salmonella - a potentially deadly bacteria. It has caused hundreds to get ill, and a it is even implicated in some deaths.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to visit Las Vegas on someone else’s dime. My wife Denyse had gotten roped into a timeshare presentation, with one of the free gifts being 3 days in Vegas. So we figured what the hell.
I have only been to Vegas once, and it was about 12 years ago. I heard things were different but…
Turns out I am not a Vegas type of guy.
I don’t drink, gamble or smoke. So that doesn’t really leave me much except of course for the prostitutes.
Just kidding.

For me, the name of the game is fast workouts. I should say fast, effective workouts ( who wants a fast workout that doesn’t do s#^t right?). So I am always looking for creative ways to craft superior workouts that are quick, effective and have the power to boost the metabolism for 24-48 hours.
As an added bonus I love it when they are portable (I can do it anywhere).
The other day I saw one of the trainers at my facility doing something kinda interesting with his clients. So like any good boss I am stealing it and calling it my own (thanks Casey).

Trigger Foods and Why you are always hungry:
I have wondered for a long time I can eat an entire bag of pretzels, or a full box of cereal and yet still be hungry moments later.
I thought I could just be damaged. (Still up for debate)
Well a recent study had some interesting findings and when combined with some existing data can offer up some answers.
For me and millions of others, high carb foods are often “trigger foods”. A trigger food is a food that can trigger you to overeat or binge. You just keep eating.

Depending on who you talk to I am right all the time (my kids, my clients) or hardly ever right (my wife).
Well I am glad to say I have been proven right once again: Low carb diets rule.
If you recall, a while back I posted an article on how low carb diets beat other diets in a head to head competition. Well it has happened again.
(For those of you who are nit-picky, I guess you could say I am *still* right, as opposed to being right again. This is kinda a continuation of my past rightness, not a all new rightness. Hopefully I will have a brand new rightness in the near future, but one can only hope)
