That’s right, I said it: "F" moderation.
This year as I visit my brother and his family in El Dorado Hills Ca, (outside of Sacramento) I was thinking of the article I would write: eat protein first, load up on veggies and go sparingly on the desserts.
F that.
Not this year.
This year has been a serious crap fest for a lot of people out there. There is enough for people to worry about without having to worry about what to (or not to) eat this Thanksgiving Holiday.

This past week my family and I were fortunate enough to be chosen as part of the home makeover show, "Myles of Style". The show’s host and main designer is Kim Myles. She is accompanied by master contractor Anthony Gilardi and a small army of designers and contractors - not to mention a full film crew.

On the show, the Myles crew picks homeowners who have a sufficiently sucky room in the house that needs a serious transformation. I can safely say that our master bedroom fit the bill perfectly, and Kim and crew agreed. Yeah, it was that bad.

In 1976 I was in kindergarten. It was the first election I can distinctly remember.
Josh in 1975, first day of Kindergarten
My school had set up a mock election, and all the classes got to vote. I of course voted for Carter. It made sense to vote for Carter, he had to be the best guy as we shared a last name. Perfectly good reasoning for a 5 year old.
I don’t remember who won in the school’s election, but I do know who won the real one.

It’s Norm.
And he isn’t 52.
He’s 62 - Yes 62.
And we have been training for 6 years (not 6 months). Just a little subterfuge.
But just to remind you where he started:
Norm at 300 lbs.
If he can do it, you can too.

Sometimes, when I’m just about spent after a workout I like to do what are called "finishers". As they name implies, they finish you off. (not like that you perv)
Generally a "finishers" are a small sequence of moves that will take you from almost "Oh man I am wiped" to "I think I’m gonna hurl".
Oh yeah, my kinda fun.
Finishers are especially effective in fat loss programs as they add a serious metabolic boost to the workout the effects of which can last for up to 48 hours.
