Just to be clear, I am not selling old guys. To be more precise – I am becoming one.
Tomorrow, September 23rd 2008 I turn 37 years old.
You are now undoubtedly saying one of two things: “That isn’t that old” or “Damn, that’s old.”
Depending on the particular moment, I could either agree with you or tell you to F off. Again, it depends on the moment.
Fire Sale
Truth be told I do not *feel* old, I still think of myself as 17- Although I am literally old enough to be the parent of the majority of the contestants on American Idol.
Damn kids.
Obviously I work out and eat right (most of the time) and I am in overall good health. But I am all too frequently reminded that I was 17 years old *20* years ago.
Damn math.
It is always this time of year I take inventory of my life. While our country seems to be barely avoiding financial apocalypse and natural disasters are ripping apart the countryside, I have to take a moment and consider how fortunate I actually am.
Honestly I could lose all material things around me, my house, my car & my gym but if I have the love and support of my family then I am a wealthy man. Add to that good health and I have everything I could ever need (although a big screen TV and and Xbox 360 is pretty cool too.)
So now I would like to see what I can do to share a bit of what I have with you. And in doing so I hope to ease a bit of the financial burden of getting in great shape and creating unbelievable health.
